Teen Playwriting Workshop with the Modell Lyric!

This program runs from July 6 through August 26, 2020 on Mondays and Wednesday from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm.

The program is FREE and open to Maryland Students in Grades 9 - 12. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Limit: 20 students.

Have you always dreamed of writing a play?  This summer join us virtually at the Pratt as we partner with the education staff of the Modell Lyric for a biweekly playwriting class that will run for 8 weeks. Learn what makes a play interesting, how to write dialogue, and how to stage your play.  You’ll come out of the workshop with a 10-minute play!  Each workshop session will be 75 minutes in length. At the end of the workshop series, each participant will have a well-drafted ten-minute play and a Certificate of Completion from the Modell Lyric. This class is free and open to all students grades 9-12. Maximum 20 students. Parent/Guardian permission required to participate.
