Welcome to Graduate Studies!

May 09, 2019

Welcome to Graduate Studies at MICA from Gwynne Keathley, Vice Provost for Research and Graduate Studies

We look forward to welcoming both new and returning students to our 2019 summer session! The summer offers a unique time to take a deep dive into your studies with six intensive weeks of fully scheduled days - including mornings, afternoons, evenings and even weekends. Faculty, staff and students in our summer session share the sense that every moment counts. We hope you are rested and ready for this fast-paced experience! Although the MFA in Studio Arts and MA in Art Education low-residency programs have their own faculties, courses, and studio locations, you will have the opportunity to meet each other during the summer session and may also meet some full-time graduate students who stay at MICA during the summer. We are excited to see you in a few weeks and share your excitement to engage in this transformative experience.
