A single written page could help fund your dream project. Graduate Research Development Grants are designed to support new research and creative projects for students by providing awards up to $500 on a competitive basis. Past award uses have included research travel, workshop fees and experimental art materials. Summer is a great time for Low-Residency students to meet with Drew Lundholm in the Office of Graduate Studies to discuss proposal ideas and ask questions about the submission process before the Fall and Spring due dates.
Proposals are accepted twice a year in October and February and are open to all active Graduate students. Visit mica.edu for complete submission guidelines and criteria Grants are made possible through funds from the Office of Research.
MICARD FLEX Account
Your MICARD is used for your identification, building access, meal plan, dining dollars and flex.
Your first MICARD will be issued at your arrival or Orientation. Once you have your ID card in hand, you are welcome to add optional campus spending funds online.
All current students have a Flex Account associated with their MICARD. The Flex account works like a debit card. Money must first be deposited before it can be spent.

Use your MICA credentials to sign into GET Email studentaccounts@mica.edu to transfer a credit balance from your student account to your flex account.

Flex account funds never expire and can be used year round. The funds carry over from semester-to-semester, and can be used during the Summer. When a student graduates, withdraws, or takes a leave of absence, all funds that are in the flex account will be refunded back to the student within 90 days.
