CfP: SUBJECTIVE GAZE | Peer to Peer Creative Works & Research Gallery

Deadline November 15, 2021

Website | Application

In recognition of the unique requirements creative scholars face in their ascent within the tenure and promotion process, Peer to Peer Creative Works & Research Gallery is creating a digital venue to showcase creative works and research of faculty by faculty.  We offer a double-blind peer-review system to ensure a professional online exhibition, and, an esteem for the academic engagement linked with the creative work and research unique to our profession though often ignored by brick & mortar venues.

THEME:  SUBJECTIVE GAZE
Perspective [standpoint] is a tool that can manipulate how an image is organized and presented -- transforming the gaze of subjectivity. What does life from certain vantage points expose, manipulate, or conceal?  Testimony.  Witness.

Submissions are open to all academic faculty in the fields of studio art and art education; with consideration given to the fields of design, performing arts, art history/criticism, creative writing, aesthetics, philosophy, visual studies, or other related or relevant creative disciplines.  Emerging and retired academic scholars are welcome.
