Now in its seventh year, the Lumen Prize celebrates the very best work created digitally by artists around the world. Its goal is to celebrate the power and potential of this exciting genre, through an annual competition, and global tour of works selected by an eminent panel of judges. All works are reviewed by our international selection committee made up of art and technology specialists, including curators, writers, and academics.
All art is eligible as long as it engages with technology in some form. This year’s prize fund is $11,000. The categories are Still, Moving Image, AR/VR, 3D/Interactive, and the BCS Artificial Intelligence awards. All finalists are eligible for three further awards: the People’s Choice award, the Founder’s award, and the Gold award.
