Dr. Avetta White, our new Director of the Student Counseling Center, is working with a team of colleagues to prepare for a series of wellness awareness events in recognition of October's National Mental Illness Awareness Week and TimelyCare campus visit; all serving as initiatives to support MICA students' mental health/wellbeing. Under Dr. Judith Kinney's leadership, TimelyCare (24/7 telehealth services and app for MICA students) was implemented and offered to the MICA student body starting the Spring 2022 semester. Due to Covid-19 restrictions at the time, TimelyCare was not able to facilitate their campus visit to MICA's community.
The time has now arrived for TimelyCare to visit MICA's campus on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 to Wednesday, October 12, 2022. TimelyCare's visit will promote the services offered through the app and encourage/support MICA students registration and utilization of this free service for MICA students.
All are invited to attend ‘TimelyCare Opening Meet & Greet’ to learn more on Tuesday October 11th from 9:00am-9:45am in Brown 320. Light continental breakfast will be provided.
