FLOURISH: 29th Annual Benefit Fashion Show

The Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) presents Flourish, the 29th Annual Benefit Fashion Show featuring student-designed wearable art that will take place Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8 at 7 pm. This event, sponsored and created by the Office of Culture and Identity (OCI) raises funds to support scholarly initiatives for students who pursue diversity-related art projects that foster inclusivity. In the past year we’ve moved through constantly shifting ground, finding a precarious balance within the earth, our bodies, and our communities. Now we have entered an arena fertile for restabilization, but in the face of this uncertain frontier, new questions loom. What do we keep and what do we leave behind? The endless possibilities open us up to fruitful conversations about how we cultivate shared space to address collective needs. Are you ready to Flourish?
