Surface Imaging Workshop at Philadelphia University

On Saturday, March 3rd from 11am to 3:30pm the Surface Imaging Department at Philadelphia University and Thomas Jefferson University will be hosting MICA students for a day of printing on a variety of materials in the East Falls neighborhood of Philadelphia.  Interested students should bring on a flash drive or laptop 9” square hi res images, flattened and saved as tiffs, 300dpi, RGB color. Any kind of imagery is fine, and any amount of colors and detail. Participants will print on a variety of materials, from metal to carpet to vinyl stickers. 

For this trip, students will need to independently arrange for carpooling. Christina Day, fiber faculty and trip coordinator would like to give Hitoshi Ujiie and Mark Mattson a firm number of attendees at least a few days before that Saturday.  Please have them confirm their attendance no later than Thursday, March 1st. If we gather a group over 10, it may be advised that we suggest students pack lunch.  If we come in at 10, they have offered to provide pizza for lunch.   Christina can meet them there as a Faculty rep from MICA.
