Baltimore Design School Textile Unit at the MICA Fiber Dept.

The Fiber department finalized their Textile Unit pilot collaboration with the BDS and BMA, here are some results of this successful project.
In the Fall semester, after a visit to the BMA and using the collection as an inspiration, BDS 9th graders (85 students of Leah Hucker's class) attended Piper Shepard's Pattern & Digital/Textile class for Textile Unit workshops, designed a repeat and received a critique by her MICA students at BDS.
Yesterday the BDS students had a chance to see their repeat designs come alive on MICA's Digital Textile Printer!
