Material Costs in the Fiber Department

Updated at August 13, 2022

The Fiber Department offers a number of consumable supplies. Some supplies are requested by your instructor for their course materials and are prepared by the Studio Managers for the upcoming semester.  The course materials are often placed in class boxes or kits and distributed during class workshops. Some supplies are available in the studio such as silkscreen, dye room, digital embroidery, or TC2 loom warp threads. A student currently taking a course may want to purchase supplies relating to these mediums for independent work.  These "Class Material Costs" and "Studio Material Costs" are payable at the MICA Store. We hope that all payments are made by the by September 26th which is also the last day to drop a class.
