Summer 2019: Internship Snapshot

Hannah Davis CP '20—Centre for Contemporary Art Derry~Londonderry 

The Centre for Contemporary Art creates opportunities for audiences to experience ambitious, experimental and engaging art, and for emerging artists to develop successful careers. CCA Derry~Londonderry welcomes artists and projects with a connection to the Northern Ireland region and collaborates with others to strengthen the arts, locally, nationally and internationally. As an intern at CCA Derry~Londonderry, Hannah worked closely with visiting artists, Darren Nixon and Janie Doherty, on an offsite performance project as part of the exhibition, Fast Slow Fast. 

Eva Sailly CP '20—LILHA

Based in San Francisco, Nayarit, Mexico, LILHA began its first interdisciplinary exchange with CP. This artist residency is committed to supporting a diverse network of artists interested in socio-environmental concerns and the relationship between the arts, humanities, and ecology. LILHA’s residences further establish relations with artistic initiatives in all of Mexico and abroad. As an intern, Eva aided in the exchange between artists and the local community to strengthen the field of art through immersive and transformative intercultural experiences.
