Spring 2024 Digital Textile Printer Update

Dear Students and Fiber Faculty Members, 

Unfortunately, we are not currently offering remote production digital textile printing services at MICA.

The off campus technician who has historically responded to the need for textile printer for repair services for this machine is no longer available. He was the only person who did this on the east coast and the printer is 15 years old. We are not able to repair it to a degree where we can offer dependable consistent printing despite a very concerted effort. I'm sure this might be very disappointing for some of you and I'm sorry that we are not able to offer this service. 

On the bright side, we have looked into some off campus printing resources.

All you have to do is create a student log in account and upload your student ID. They offer a wide variety of printing options, some beyond what we can typically provide on campus.
