The department’s approach is contemporary, supports a breadth of fine art and design interests, values experimentation, and is empowered by research.
The program is designed to instill a broad understanding of print media methods, history and culture while simultaneously supporting focused investigations in specific print and book forms. Interdisciplinary work, collaborative activity, and community engagement are structured into the program, as are a range of professional practice and research activity, all working in concert to realize a personal vision.
